This year Grahams of Monaghan took the national award for “Best Staff Team” in the Octabuild Builders Merchant Awards 2017. The company which employees over 41 full and parttime staff were also nominated for the Connacht/Ulster Region award.
The late Maurice Graham started his building materials business in 1988 and today, 29 years later it is now a Hardware, Plumbing & Heating, Home & Gift, Decor, Gardening, Electrical and a much-loved coffee shop which recently went through a total revamp, and was rebranded as the “G Café”.
The business continues to be run by Maurice’s family, who strive to continue his principles of stocking quality products backed up with product knowledge and personal customer service.

The awards were presented on Thursday May 11th in the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin which was attended by over 260 representatives of the building merchant trade in Ireland.
